Place of Welcome - Audley Community Library

We’d like to share a positive local initiative that may be helpful for some of our families.

Audley Community Library hosts a “Place of Welcome” drop‑in session every Thursday. This is a relaxed and friendly space where local residents can enjoy a tea or coffee, have a chat, and connect with others in the community.

The sessions are welcoming and inclusive, and may be particularly supportive for parents and carers whose children are finding school or education challenging, offering an opportunity to talk, share experiences, and access informal support in a safe environment.

The initiative is run locally by Mandy, with the support of the library team, and is focused on reducing isolation and building community connections.
