Sparks to Your Success - Parenting Teenagers Course

Staffordshire County Council are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for parents and carers of teenagers through Sparks to Your Success, who will be delivering a supportive 6-week teen parenting course.
This rolling programme will run until March 2027, offering families ongoing opportunities to access support. Sessions take place face-to-face in the evenings, making them accessible for those who may be working during the day.
The course is designed to provide practical strategies, honest conversations, and a supportive environment for adults navigating the challenges of raising teenagers. Topics include:
- Building stronger connections and communication
- Understanding teenage brain development
- Managing emotions and behaviour
- Setting clear and respectful boundaries
- Navigating digital life and online influences
- Supporting parent and carer wellbeing
Sessions are welcoming, inclusive and non-judgemental, with a focus on real-life strategies rather than lectures. There is also the opportunity to connect with other parents who may be experiencing similar challenges.
Feedback from families who have previously attended has been extremely positive, highlighting the impact and value of the programme.
